To
raise the profile of the foundation in the Chinese Canadian community.
This event is being hosted by a prominent doctor in the community,
Dr. Wong, who was introduced to the foundation through its most
recent 'champion' Dr. Bernie Gosevitch, Chief Medical Officer for
Rogers Corporation and personal physician to Ted Rogers.
Hope for Health's primary focus and beneficiary of proceeds from
the previous fundraising initiatives, has been to support the research
work of Dr. Neil Berinstein the oncologist whose vaccine for Lymphoma
is currently in clinical trial. Dr. Neil Berinstein will also be
in attendance.
Since the out break of SARS in Toronto, Hope for Health has turned
its attention to helping the doctors committed to finding a vaccine
for this disease, hence the need for this initiative.
We would like to invite you to participate at this event by buying
tickets either individually at $100 each or in tables of ten $1,000)
through your corporation. Of course each ticket will be applicable
for a tax receipt of $50.
We anticipate this high profile event to attract a number of prominent
business people and community leaders.
